Dit concert vindt plaats in het kader van de Middagconcerten van Antwerpen: al 67 seizoenen lang worden gerenommeerde muzikanten, creatieve ensembles en jonge beloftevolle talenten uitgenodigd om op vrijdagmiddag een concert te verzorgen.

Recital 1ste Laureaat Koningin Elisabethwedstrijd
Met een programma gewijd aan Debussy, Scriabin en Prokofieff is de wereldberoemde pianist Vitaly Samoshko voor het eerst te gast in AMUZ. Sinds hij in 1999 de eerste prijs won op de Koningin Elisabeth wedstrijd, concerteerde hij in de meest prestigieuze concertzalen over de hele wereld. Zijn grote virtuositeit in combinatie met zijn fijnzinnige artistieke persoonlijkheid, maken Vitaly Samoshko tot één van de boeiendste pianisten van zijn generatie.

Charlotte Cromheeke en Aaron Wajnberg, beide alumni van het Koninklijk Conservatorium te Antwerpen, maakten hun debuut in het wereldberoemde Carnegie Hall te New York City in 2011.
Sinds 2009 vormen ze een liedduo en worden ze gecoacht door Jozef de Beenhouwer, Roger Vignoles en Christianne Stotijn. Als liedduo werden ze geselecteerd om deel te nemen aan de Internationale Lied Masterclass van het Koninklijk Conservatorium te Brussel.
Ze brengen in het kader van Antwerpen Cultuurmarkt een programma met muziek van Brahms, Schubert en Scriabin.
